Trusted insights, proven results

This area is intended to be a growing showcase of our client experiences, where weโ€™ve recently begun curating formal feedback received at the conclusion of our projects. Weโ€™re excited to share these insights with you.

Here is what some of our recent clients had to say

  • Matthew Ellis Food Consulting Limited: Matthew Ellis, DirectorGrant was instrumental in identifying improvements that could be made to the Operational performance of a manufacturing site where workable data analysis was not in place. Initially he used his Lean Manufacturing and 6 Sigma skills to assess where changes could be made, propose a plan to the Site Director and then build a customised production management system on a web-based portal to meet the site requirements. He then coached the Operations Management team to use the management level analytics that the system provides, including regular diagnostics input when required. Initial discussions have taken place to potentially extend the scope of the system to include other modules to fully automate the whole production process from goods receipt to despatch via an ERP model including quality monitoring applications.

It was a pleasure to work with Grant who offered much more to the team than just the data analysis platform with his flexible approach to the system that he developed. I would highly recommend him to other FMCG manufacturing businesses who are seeking similar systems where they require bespoke solutions.
  • The Redpath Group: Damian Landi, Chief Financial OfficerGrant from Lakeland Analytics has been instrumental in supporting and streamlining our data processes at Redpath. From ERP implementation and improvement to labour hours analysis and financial/procurement reconciliation. His expertise, attention to detail and ability to deliver actionable insights has been invaluable, and his contribution to the administration of the GBP450m Anglo American Woodsmith project cannot be overstated. A resolute team player, I can comfortably recommend him and his company Lakeland Analytics to any organisation seeking data-driven solutions.
  • Castlerigg Consulting: Lorna Holroyd, DirectorCastlerigg Consulting is pleased to provide a written reference relating to services provided by Sopeasy Limited and subsequently Lakeland Analytics Limited between November 2019-April 2022. The analytics work was mainly undertaken by Grant Beverley.

Lakeland Analytics provided business and data analytics services to support several transformation projects that Castlerigg Consulting has delivered over the last two years. This includes commissions in both the NHS and Councils. Examples of work undertaken was the data analytics associated with demand and capacity modelling for the design of a new COVID-19 out of hospital service in March 2020, the analysis of complex families and their support requirements for the development of community hubs in Scotland as well as the analytics to support the design of new models of care for looked after children.

Lakeland Analytics also supported Castlerigg Consulting in its internal development of decision support and analytical tools, using the Power BI platform. They worked with us to understand our business requirements and translated these into data views and templated reports to support improved business insight for our clients. This insight was used to support our transformation commissions including organisational and service design work.

We found Grant to be a highly professional contractor who quickly builds effective relationships with both colleagues and clients. In the challenging environment of Castlerigg designing a new service for older people during COVID-19, he was dedicated and passionate about delivering the analytics work required at pace, and was highly adaptable and flexible as the requirements became clearer.

Grant was a real asset, and a pleasure to work with on commissions, and we recommend him to other organisations seeking business and data analytics services.
